Question MO call why doing update location

    Hi all,

I have a question: When the subscriber make an MO call while his handset doing update location, his call will be failed. Anyone has idea on MSC we can hold the MO call untill the update location finish? Thank you in advance.

Hi experts, do you have any idea? Thank you. I think Huawei MSC can do this, but I have no idea about Nokia and Ericsson MSC. Any one have the same question as me...?

This is normal behavior as there is no way to authenticate the subscriber if location update is not successful. Seizing resource for an unknown subscriber is inefficient (except for emergency calls).

In order to make an MO call location update must be completed successfully along with permissions to make an outgoing call (as in no Barring enabled in the subscribers HLR profile).
