    Question High Traffic Solutions

    Hi,

I am working in RF planning department and I need to present possible solutions to carry high traffic in a small area, the case is Football stadium with a capacity of 40000 people.

Do you know any vendors that work this solutions? Or what's ypur experience in this matter? Data and voice services

    Thank you very much

Main thing you can do in these scenarios is to increase your sectorisation adding "more" sectors, using "narrower" beams (33 degrees, 13 degrees, 10 degrees, and so on). You could explore multi-beam antenna solutions, for instance Argus (Commscope), Comba, among others. It is also more manageable to use only high frequency bands instead of low ones, i.e. 1900 MHz preferred against 850 MHz. There are companies which could offer a DAS solution for you too. One I know is TE Connectivity, from Chile. Hope this helps.

Depends on the situation, you may use multi-beam antenna with narraw beamwidth (e.g. 5 beam with 10 degree) or special pattern antenna (e.g. some antenna for stadium usage provide square like pattern for you to separate the crowd into different sectors to increase capacitor).
