Finland based mobile network, DNA says that it is looking to cut about 14% of its workforce as part of a cost-cutting exercise.

The company said that the reorganisation is aimed at streamlining the entire organisation, rendering it less complex.

It is thought that reorganising DNA's business operations will result in staff cuts affecting approximately 150 people. The mobile network currently employs a total of 1,045 employees in ten localities.

"DNA's strength has always lain in rapid renewal of operations in the face of change. Our operating environment is changing at an increasingly rapid pace. With this reorganisation, we also wish to ensure our competitiveness and agility in the future," says Riitta Tiuraniemi, President and CEO of DNA Ltd.
