The most common issues for RACH failure in LTE are improper PCI planning and High UL RSSI issue. Please check if there are any PCI collision/Confusion in network which is creating RACH failure.

You need to check whether the CFRA or the CBRA RACH setup success rate is poor.To improve the RACH setup success rate make sure that the RACH Root sequences are properly defined and there is no immediate collision seen.Incase you are working on an Ericsson system then I would suggest the feature Automatic RACH Sequence.

    hai reagan,
i have tried turning on feature Automatic RACH Sequence.
    not always improving CBRA

basicly this feature is changing root sequence, but can you explain why from 3 sector in 1 site, when turning on this feature, 2 sector always has same root sequence ?

    what else can we do?
